First and for most I want to say that I am a big fan of Chris Brown and he definitely did his thing last night at The Bet Awards but there's just a few things that's really bothering me about this, its the way people behave afterwards. This morning I was on the internet just making my "daily rounds" and I saw something on Bossip.com that said "Chris Brown’s MJ Tribute At The BET Awards: Dances And Cries His Heart Out… Should He Be Forgiven???". Now like I said im a BIG supporter of Chris Brown even through his drama but I see that there is people, even the stars, that seem to all the sudden "love" him again because he is showing emotion and crying during the Michael Jackson tribute. I can bet you anything that half the people in that audience clapping for him was saying something negative during his situation. I mean where were these people when he was going through things, there is only a select few who said something good about him or stayed by his side. Really want im asking is what are your thoughts how do you feel about this situation? Im really just confused on people's actions, I believe you can have a change of heart but i'm still bothered by this.
there was nuthin wrong with him cryin, that was his idol so ppl need to leave him alone and get over it.
ReplyDeleteYeah i feel you, I mean i cried to be honest
ReplyDeleteso true a lot of ppl arent true fans they just in the hype just to say they're apart if it
ReplyDeleteUnderstood, people are too fake when it comes to these things.
ReplyDeleteFam, I most definetly feel you because I said the same thing. The same people that wanted to end his career after the Rihanna incident now wants all to be forgiven because of his emotional breakdown during his tribute to M.J. Of course, the common denominator is Michael Jackson, I believe everybody is hurt about the Kings death however seeing Chris Brown tribute to him yesterday suddenly made everything he did wrong in the past "dissappear" I can bet any type of money that if he didn't do that tribute and he just came out to present an award or perform his song he would've got boo'd. It's something about Michael Jackson to make us all feel unified.
ReplyDeleteI understand that now they got these videos with stars screaming out "Chris Brown is back he's a genius" blah blah blah a lot of these people are full of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Nira. I believe the unification that M.J. provides is because everyone ridiculed and condemed him before he died and now they are sucking his d*&#. I think Chris Brown needs some help with his anger management issues. He does not need to loose his career over this incident but HE WAS WRONG! If it hadn't been Rhianna, it would have disappeared by now. Her career is soaring because of it and his is needs to be ressurected. I didn't find his tribute to be sincere because I believe right now his, PR people are looking for an angle to get him back out there before he is totally buried alive by this incident with Rhianna. If he was sincere, okie dokie. LOL I didn't buy the breakdown but I do buy the wanting to get his career back, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!
ReplyDeleteI hear you Angie but see there's another thing I have a problem with, people are so quick to judge Chris for what happened but no one in that car knows what really happened except those two and God. She could have been pissing him off and punching him or anything but people just see her marks. I don't know I'm not the one to let a woman hit me without atleast wrapping her up or anything because women have this thing where they think they shouldn't be touched or anything but that's not what's up, really. I'm not abusive or anything but just saying.
ReplyDeleteBut what you're saying is ABUSE. I can see restraining her, getting out of the car (with your keys), walking away, blah, balh, balh. Just because she may make you mad and hit you doesn't mean that you reciprocate the violence. That just shows her bad taste and uncontrollable nature. Leave her ass, don't go to jail. I would even be inclined to say yank her out of the car and drive off. She'll get home. But beating her to where her face looked like Rhianna's looked is insane. I don't care what you say. Women are wrong for thinking that a man shouldn't and won't hit her back but, to me, a man should always walk away from an abusive woman unless she is wyling out with a knife or object. Then you have my permission to knock her block off because your actual life is in danger. I am not quick to judge the situation or him. The fact is is that he was wrong for the abuse. He doesn't deserve to loose his career over it. It's amazing that if it had just been some unknown girl, this would have blown over by now. But because it was a celebrity that people like, he just might not recover.
